Leslie Esdaile Banks

Black Authors post, Day 14

Today’s author is fantasy, romance and mystery author Leslie Esdaile Banks.

Leslie was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1959. She attended Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania’s undergraduate program. She then obtained a Masters of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from Temple University.

Leslie contributed to several magazines and newspapers. She began her fiction-writing career penning romance novels, and later branched out to mystery/suspense and paranormal fantasy.

Leslie passed away in 2011 after a battle with adrenal cancer at the age of 51.
